The Sailor Advisory Committee (SAC) was established by the State Library Resource Center Oversight Commission in 2005 to assist in the oversight of the activities of the Sailor Operations Center (SOC) at the Maryland State Library Resource Center.

Maryland Public Electronic Resource Librarians Committee

The Maryland Public Electronic Resource Librarians Committee (MPERL) was established to facilitate communication among Maryland Public Library electronic resource librarians as they consider online database products for purchase through the Sailor budget and/or local library budgets. MPERL also provides a central forum for the public libraries to discuss database products that they purchase individually. This group includes MD-K12 Digital Library representatives.
