Plagiarism Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of using someone’s ideas, expressions, or thoughts without crediting the author and presenting them as your own. You may paraphrase a statement or quote “word for word” parts of a source as long as you report where they originated from. There are instances where students have been disciplined (dismissed from school) because of plagiarism.

The following links will help you understand in depth what plagiarism is and how to avoid it.
