19th Century Documents: The Avalon Project at Yale Law School
Yale University presents this impressive collection of major 19th century documents. The scope is significant: the War of 1812, the 1805 peace treaty with Tripoli, conventions regarding the slave trade, the peace treaty with Morocco in 1836, the Kansas Nebraska Act, the Louisiana Purchase, agreements with Native Americans, and the 1832 proclamation on nullification.
